Lake Duluti Lodge is made up of 19 spacious contemporary African styled romantic chalets ideally positioned for maximum privacy and view inside a thirty acre active coffee farm located in a safe and exclusive area on the outskirts of Arusha. All chalets are positioned to face the coffee farm and each has a private deck with an amazing view of the ancient indigenous trees found in big number within the farm.

We were given a free hour tour which... read more included the garden where they grow their own fruits and vegetables, the coffee tree grove where we were shown the process of harvesting and making coffee (most of which is still done by hand), and a walk to Lake Duluti which is outside of the property. The meals were delicious. The chef even wrapped up some of his banana bread for us to take with us.

   My wife and kids stayed here at the end of a long safari Trip to Tanzania. Its a lovely setting with a great coffee and fruit plantation next door.... read more My wife and I did the tour and learned all about coffee planting, harvesting, drying and grinding. We did it all with a wonderful tour guide. At the end, we had a small balance due of around $40. There was a problem with the communications with the bank to approve the card. Not our fault but we had no cash to pay. The owner, great gent from S. Africa, wrote it off. I offered to send check or cash later but he would not hear of it. Fine gentleman. All the staff were wonderful, food was lovely and service superb. Our rooms were very stylish and well-appointed. Lovely stay More
