Lake Duluti Lodge is made up of 19 spacious contemporary African styled romantic chalets ideally positioned for maximum privacy and view inside a thirty acre active coffee farm located in a safe and exclusive area on the outskirts of Arusha. All chalets are positioned to face the coffee farm and each has a private deck with an amazing view of the ancient indigenous trees found in big number within the farm.

   Safari travelers often fly into Kilimanjaro (JRO) in the evening and, after a long flight, a good accommodation is really important to get you off to a good start. ... read more We always arrive a couple of days before our safari is scheduled to begin in order to recover from jet lag and get acclimated to a new time zone. Waking up at Duluti Lodge is a grand experience. Located in a wooded environment and close to Lake Duluti, the sounds of birds immediately starts your transformation into Africa. The breakfast is excellent, in fact all meals are delightful. Part of the grounds form part of a coffee plantation and trails will lead you to many delights. The birding is excellent and if you like butterflies, the sunny days will bring out many varied species, sparkling jewels of beauty. When we left the lodge, the staff came out and sang to us. Their smiling faces along with the marvelous beauty of their voices is a great way to begin a safari. As you will quickly learn, the Tanzanian people are welcoming, friendly hosts. Lake Duluti Lodge is a testament to this fact.

   We spent 1 night in this hotel on our way back to France. This lodge is located at 45' of the kilimandjaro airport. It offers very nice, big and clean... read more rooms in the middle of a nice tropical garden. Staff is kind and helpful. The Restaurant provides good dinner in a peaceful area. Breakfast could be improved a little, jelly, honey, yogurt for example. More
